This 2-hour course will dive deeply into identifying client’s attachment patterns and help predict and prepare clients for more efficient treatment.  Participants will learn ways to read nonverbal cues, conceptualize and communicate character traits in a nonviolent way and gather attachment information in phases one and two of EMDR using the PTI Approach to EMDR.

Objectives:
  • Participants will be able to identify clients’ attachment patterns in phase one of EMDR therapy using the Answer questionnaire.
  • Participants will be able to communicate clients’ attachment patterns in nonviolent ways.
  • Participants will be able to identify clients’ attachment patterns in phases one and two of EMDR in more advanced ways such as how the client moves their body, how they respond in conversation, how they regulate themselves, and how they participate in resource activities.
