This advanced experiential course supports clinicians in deepening their understanding of how personal emotional processes influence the EMDR therapy process. Participants will explore how adaptive emotional responses, attachment needs, and unresolved trauma may enhance or interfere with attunement, case conceptualization, and phase-based EMDR interventions. Training includes didactic instruction, guided experiential practice using participants’ own clinical material (not role-play), and structured reflection.
