If you are licensed or currently working toward licensure under a supervisor you will be qualified to attend. Graduate students working toward licensure in a mental health field also qualify to attend.  We follow EMDRIA eligibility requirements

ADA Accomodations

Personal Transformation Institute is committed to providing equal access to all participants. Participants who require accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or who have accessibility needs may request accommodations by contacting PTI at [email protected] or (734) 210-1134.

For live trainings (delivered via Zoom), accommodations may include live closed captioning, ASL interpretation, large-print or accessible-format materials, seating or environmental adjustments, and Zoom accessibility features. Requests for live trainings are encouraged at least 14 days prior to the training start date to allow adequate time to arrange services; requests received closer to the training date will still be considered.

For on-demand self-study courses, accommodations may include closed captioning, transcripts, screen-reader compatibility, or extended time on posttests. Because these courses are self-paced, requests can be made before or after enrollment at any time.

PTI will work with each participant to arrange reasonable accommodations that support full participation.

Yes. Two payment plans are offered at checkout, with no paperwork from PTI:

• Sezzle splits the registration into 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks. Choose Sezzle at checkout and complete a short sign-up with Sezzle.
• Klarna lets you pay over time. The options and any interest are shown by Klarna at checkout before you commit.

Approval and limits are set by Sezzle and Klarna, not by PTI. Cards, Link, and Cash App Pay are also accepted. Details are on our payment plans page. Agencies and groups can request invoice or purchase order billing through the group training page.

All of our 6-day EMDR Trainings are eligible for Continuing Education Credits upon satisfactory completion.

-Certificates are awarded online after completion of the workshop. Participants print their own certificate after completion of the event and evaluation.  No partial credit is given.

  Personal Transformation Institute (PTI) has been approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP Number 7369. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified.  Personal Transformation Institute is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

• Association of Social Work Baords (ASWB) #1924
• Personal Transformation Institute, 1924, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 4/21/2026-4/21/2029. Social workers completing this course receive 40 total credits, including 19 general, 20 clinical, and 1 ethics continuing education credits.
  • (ACE) CE credit is not awarded for consultation hours.

Every PTI EMDR Basic Training includes the 10 hours of consultation EMDRIA requires, at no additional cost. For trainings beginning December 3, 2026 or later, they are delivered in two parts: 6 hours during your training, two hours on each of days 4, 5 and 6, and 4 hours after your training, when you return for the last two hours of days 5 and 6 of a later PTI training (3:15 to 5:15 PM in that training’s time zone), booked and attended together as a pair. EMDRIA’s consultant standards limit consultation to 2 hours in any 24-hour period, so the final 4 hours cannot be held inside your own six days. All 10 hours must be completed within 12 months of your training start date.

When can I book my final 4 hours? As soon as your six days are complete. The booking link is in your Training Portal course and unlocks when day 6 is marked complete. You can choose any later training that is open, so you are not tied to one date.

Do I have to attend both days? Yes. The two blocks are booked and attended as a pair, and your completion code is issued at the end of the second block.

What if I cannot make the dates I booked? Contact us before the first block and we will move you to another pair, subject to availability. If you do not attend, or miss part of a block, the missed hours must be rescheduled at a later training and a $150 make-up fee applies.

When do I get my certificates? Your CE certificate is issued after day 6. Your EMDRIA Basic Training completion certificate is issued after your final 4 hours, once you enter the completion code from your consultant.

Do I present a new case? No. Bring the case you presented during your training and tell us what has happened with it since.

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing from the email address you registered with, to [email protected]. PTI confirms every cancellation in writing. The terms, from the Participant Agreement:

• More than 30 days before the training: refund of your registration fee minus a $150 administration fee.
• 30 days or less before the training: no refund. You may transfer to a different training date, if space allows, for a $150 administration fee.
• Once the training has started: no refunds or transfers. In a genuine emergency PTI may, at its discretion, allow missed days to be made up at $250 per day missed.
• If PTI cancels a training: you receive a full refund. If PTI reschedules, the transfer fee is waived.

Group purchases follow the group terms on the group training page, because the discount depends on the number of participants.
